Two Nights Under the Stars

Discover the natural wonders of Everglades National Park with a weekend of outdoor adventure, hosted by The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks and chaired by Marcos Garcia. Taking place at Flamingo Campground from January 24 to 26, Two Nights Under the Stars welcomes both seasoned campers and first-timers to connect with nature through guided hikes, storytelling around campfires, stargazing and more.

Participants can enjoy activities such as exploring the historic Nike missile base, kayaking, yoga sessions and an astronomy program with the Southern Cross Astronomical Society. Meals will be catered, including dinner on Friday, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring, though attendees must bring their own tents and camping gear.

This event supports The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks, the official nonprofit partner of Everglades, Biscayne, Dry Tortugas National Parks and Big Cypress National Preserve. Proceeds fund educational and conservation programs that protect Florida’s natural treasures. The $30 park entrance fee is not included in the ticket price, and refund policies apply based on cancellation timelines.

• Cash or card for park fees and additional purchases
• Bike (available for rent in Flamingo)

• The $30 entrance fee to Everglades National Park is not included in the ticket price.
• Refunds: Full refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available up to 60 days before the event. Refunds of 50% (minus Eventbrite fees) are available up to 30 days before the event. No refunds will be provided within 30 days of the event.
