Why Attend Ultra Music Festival?
Ultra's flagship festival in Miami draws tens of thousands of people from all over the world as well as nearly every big name in electronic music. This year’s edition will once again take over Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, bringing back some old names, like Calvin Harris, who haven’t appeared in years. The 2024 lineup also includes Ultra debuts from contemporary acts like Peggy Gou and SVDDEN DEATH as well as headliners festival regulars know and love. Read on for all you need to know about Ultra Music Festival 2024, from who’s performing to how to get there.
Who’s Performing at Ultra Music Festival 2024?
Ultra Music Festival’s 2024 headliners are names you probably know even if you’re not familiar with electronic dance music. The biggest of them all is Calvin Harris, who’ll make his first appearance in 11 years. The man who produced hits for the likes of Dua Lipa and Rihanna will be playing a full DJ set to close out one of the nights. Other big-name headliners include Afrojack, who’ll be performing under his underground alias Kapuchon; DJ Tiësto; David Guetta; Hardwell; and Armin Van Buuren at his stalwart A State of Trance stage. Notable Ultra debuts include electro-pop sensation Peggy Gou, whose hit “(It Goes Like) Nanana” topped EDM charts for much of 2023. SVDDEN DEATH will also make his first Ultra appearance with a solo DJ set and a collaborative effort with Space Laces and Eptic as Masterhand. The combination of Kill the Noise and Bro Safari will debut as Kill Safari as well. Orbital will be back at Ultra for the first time in 14 years, and guests can also expect massive sets from Elderbrook, Camelphat, Eric Prydz and Zeds Dead.
Resistance at Ultra Music Festival
Ultra’s underground Resistance program is back for another year, hosting two stages. Headlining performers will include Adam Beyer, Camelphat, Dubfire, Sasha and Digweed, and many, many more. Resistance will also return to M2 Nightclub in South Beach, with performers still to be announced. While Miami Music Week offers plenty of chances to see world renowned DJs in smaller venues, Resistance is the best chance to see many of them in one night in a club setting.
