Miami's Craft Beer & Breweries
Miami’s craft beer scene has been growing for years, with plenty of popular local breweries stretching across Greater Miami & Miami Beach, from South Beach to Wynwood, Doral and beyond. Even better, there are new craft brew hotspots bubbling up all the time.
Start your craft beer explorations in South Beach at Abbey Brewing Company, which has been brewing its own Trappist-style suds in-house since 1995. With a stained-glass window and wooden benches that resemble pews, this laidback spot has an Old World feel. Adding to the fun, the beers have clever names such as the Immaculate IPA, Father Theodore’s Stout and Brother Dan’s Double.
J. Wakefield Brewing, Veza Sur Brewing Co. and Cerveceria La Tropical are some of the many breweries housed in spacious indoor-outdoor warehouse-style settings with live entertainment and casual fare – or food trucks – for a festive atmosphere.
For a truly one-of-a-kind setting for suds, make your way to South Dade’s Redland area and Miami Brewing Co. at Schnebly Redland’s Winery & Brewery, where the craft beers are made with local tropical fruits, such as the Shark Bait wheat ale made with mango.
