Sunday Soiree: South Florida Jazz Orchestra & Ashley Pezzotti

Spend an elegant evening enjoying live jazz under the stars with the South Florida Jazz Orchestra and acclaimed vocalist Ashley Pezzotti. Held on Sunday, January 19, at the Jazz Age Stage in Lummus Park on 12th Street and Ocean Drive, this event is part of the Miami Design Preservation League’s Art Deco Weekend lineup. Guests are encouraged to dress dapper for the occasion.

Directed by bassist and composer Chuck Bergeron, the South Florida Jazz Orchestra is Miami’s premier modern big band, featuring top jazz artists and studio musicians from the region. Known for their critically acclaimed recordings and high-energy performances, the band will perform selections from their repertoire, including works from their latest release, Cheap Thrills. Jazz vocalist Ashley Pezzotti will be joining the orchestra for the evening's performance.

The soiree will also include swing dance performances, mini-lessons and opportunities for audience participation.
