Kabuya Pamela Bowens-Saffo Opening Reception

Join the Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at Miami Dade College for the opening reception of Kabuya Pamela Bowens-Saffo's first solo show in Miami. This exhibition, titled From the Heights, showcases the artist's prolific career spanning decades and highlights her significant contributions to the South Florida art community.

Featuring works created from as early as 1977 to the present, From the Heights offers a comprehensive look at Bowens-Saffo's artistic practice. Through her intricate printmaking techniques, the artist delves into themes of race, gender and class, shedding light on the historical and social contexts that have shaped her work.

The opening reception will take place on Monday, December 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MOAD at MDC's Padrón Campus. Refreshments will be served, and free self-parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
