Join The Bass every third Thursday, for monthly after-hours activations and mingling. Immerse yourself in curated tunes, sip on cocktails, enjoy surprise performances and more. As a highlight of Culture Crawl, this event is free with complimentary City of Miami Beach trolley service to all participating cultural venues throughout the evening. Here’s the upcoming lineup of featured performances:
December 19 - Featuring Dance NOW! Miami
Dance NOW! Miami brings their Ekphrasis Project to The Bass, creating a dialogue between characters and themes from the Performance Perspectives exhibition. This contemporary dance performance explores the Performance of Self, offering an introspective lens through movement. Performances are at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
January 16, 2025 - Featuring Sons of Mystro
Sons of Mystro, joined by Jaleel Jones, serenade audiences with violin and cello interpretations of popular music and timeless classics. Performances are at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with a member-exclusive meet-and-greet at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m..
February 20 - Featuring Hued Songs
Hued Songs presents a collection of song and spoken word performed by an all-women cast, centering themes of female resistance, freedom, and liberation. The 40-minute performance begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
March 20 - Featuring Anna Luisa Petrisko and Ana Carolina Estarita-Guerrero
Experience a multimedia performance combining interactive video and live music by Anna Luisa Petrisko and Ana Carolina Estarita-Guerrero. This immersive event showcases ambient textures and dynamic visuals, with performances at 7 p.m. and a member-only meet-and-greet at 7:45 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
April 17 - Featuring assume vivid astro focus
Explore the many facets of queerness through immersive performances and live art organized by assume vivid astro focus. Performance times to be announced.
May 15 - Featuring immersive opera with composer Nathan Felix
Composer Nathan Felix presents an immersive opera that blends original music, storytelling and movement in an interactive performance. This one-hour opera begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
