The Florida Grand Opera presents a reimagined production that transports audiences into the world of a group of teenagers engrossed in a fantasy role-playing game. As the game unfolds, their imaginations transform the setting into a magical realm filled with mythical creatures and iconic opera characters. Follow Prince Tamino on a quest to rescue Pamina, the Queen of the Night's daughter, from the clutches of the seemingly evil Sarastro. With the help of the comical Papageno and magical instruments, Tamino discovers that Sarastro is not the villain he appears to be.

Director Jeffrey Buchman brings a contemporary perspective to this classic tale, emphasizing wit, charm and a focus on Pamina’s journey of enlightenment. Performances will be in German with English and Spanish translations projected.
