Discover the stories behind classic albums at a martini-fueled listening series at Monterrey Bar in The Standard Spa. On the second Tuesday of the month, music lovers are invited to join Daniel Blair/DJ Hottpants and Sweat Records as they explore the legacy of Ella Fitzgerald’s artistry on December 10 with highlights from Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie! and Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas.
Guests can also browse through exclusive vinyl selections from Sweat Records at Café Standard after each session and have their new finds spun at Monterrey Bar. Attendees are asked to dress in cocktail chic attire, noting that sleeveless shirts, sandals, and swimsuit covers are not permitted. This 21+ event may include photography and video recording, and early arrival is recommended as seating is limited.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the event starts at 6 p.m. Dress code is cocktail chic.
