MUVE International Coastal Cleanup Day

Join Frost Science in removing trash from Miami's oceans and waterways at Historic Virginia Key's North Point on Saturday, September 21. As part of the worldwide 39th annual International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) initiative, this cleanup is spearheaded globally by the Ocean Conservancy and organized locally by VolunteerCleanup.org with 45+ simultaneous shoreline cleanups in Miami-Dade County. 

Download the free CleanSwell app on your smartphone to collect marine debris data during the beach cleanup. Wear close-toed shoes, sun protection and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. All cleanup materials and data collection cards will be provided. Volunteers will receive a souvenir tote bag with this year’s marine animal theme.
