Discover a diverse array of contemporary art and creative expression at Feria Clandestina 2024, running December 5–7 from noon to 7 PM daily at Selina Miami Gold Dust in the MiMo District. Now in its third edition, the community incubator fair gathers 93 artists under the theme "Making Room," transforming the venue into a multi-room experience where every space offers something unique.
Highlights include Room 229, featuring an impromptu tattoo studio, and Room 230, showcasing an exhibit on house music history. Local artists such as Jen Clay, Harumi Abe, Ingrid Schindall, and Desi Swoop will display their work, while Nice'N Easy debuts a limited edition floaty and print. International galleries from Detroit, Mexico City and Cologne will be showcased alongside Miami favorites like Supermarket and the Contemporary Art Modern Project (CAMP) Gallery. Jolt Radio will also be in residence, adding an audio dimension to the fair's dynamic atmosphere.
In Room 214, the CAMP Gallery will present an exhibition featuring cyanotype and painting works by Margaret Roleke, Hermes Berrío and Lydia Viscardi. Roleke’s multimedia pieces address social issues such as gun violence using materials like spent shotgun shells. Berrío’s vibrant works reflect his global artistic journey, earning him recognition from institutions such as the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Miami Individual Artist Grant. Viscardi’s creations draw on suburban life and are housed in collections across the U.S. and Europe.
Set against the retro charm of the Selina Miami Gold Dust Motel, Feria Clandestina 2024 offers an engaging opportunity to explore thought-provoking art and connect with the local and international art community. Admission is free.
