Family Fest: Ballet for Young People

Family Fest: Ballet for Young People returns to the Adrienne Arsht Center on Saturday, February 15, offering a free, family-friendly performance of George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Presented by Miami City Ballet as part of the Arsht Center’s Family Fest series, this adaptation brings Shakespeare’s whimsical tale of magic and mischief to life in a South Florida coastal setting.

Audiences will enjoy the playful choreography of Balanchine, set to Mendelssohn’s enchanting score, as feuding fairies, mischievous Puck and star-crossed lovers take the stage. The performance is open to the public, though first-access passes are required and will be available starting January 10.
