The program, featuring NWS fellows with Stéphane Denève at the podium, also includes works by Michael Abels, a renowned contemporary African-American composer known for his award-winning opera Omar and critically acclaimed scores. His soulful Delights & Dances mixes jazz, bluegrass, blues and Latin dance.
