Through Mar 22, 2025
monthly on the 4th Saturday
From: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Join a community effort to protect the environment and maintain Crandon Park’s coastal beauty. Organized by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, the Crandon Park Coastal Cleanup takes place on the fourth Saturday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. This initiative invites volunteers to assist park staff in preserving the health of this vital ocean ecosystem.
Participants will help remove microplastics and trash from Crandon Park South and may assist with other tasks as needed. Gloves, trash bags and necessary tools will be provided by park staff. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle, personal snacks and wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothing and sun protection such as a hat and sunscreen.
Youth under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Community service hours are available upon request and will be emailed following the event.
