Before You Begin:

To complete this application you will need to have the following required documents ready to download:

• Current Resume
• College Admission Acceptance
• Official College Transcript
• Two Character Reference Letters
• 200 Word Essay Outlining Your Academic and Career Goals

Criteria for Eligibility

• Be of African-American or Black of African descent
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in the Hospitality/Visitor Industry
• Be a Miami-Dade County Resident for at least the past 2-years
• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident

Have the minimum GPA requirement:

• Be Committed to work in the Greater Miami-Dade Visitor Industry for at least 2-years following graduation
• Be Admitted to one of the following Colleges/Universities

• Event Management (AS)
• Global Sustainable Tourism (BA)
• Hotel/Lodging Management (BS)
